Here's the main jam on the new Les Paul from this weeks film... many people recognised the Dicky Betts influence and it was indeed the result of an hour or so on youtube trying to learn some of his licks. That they are recognisable when I play them I guess shows how distinctive and influential player he was and still is!

Steal My Licks #27
Here's the jam from last weeks Tokai review. The track it remind me of was in fact 'Psi Power' from the 1978 Hawklords album '25 Years On' but it's a familiar progression used in countless songs, and also a brilliant loop to jam over for hours and hours so please join me!

Steal My Licks #26
Here's the jam from the Gretsch G2622 pickup upgrade film a while back... having recycled it for this weeks film I thought it was worth posting here. Can't remember now but I think it's probably inspired by 'dear prudence', the chord progression is C / C7 / F / Fm... play along with me and have fun!

Steal My Licks #25
Here's the jam from the broken ES339 review where the Casino stood in. Gary Clark Jr provided inspiration and this... it's my take on his brilliant 'When My Train Pulls In' (Em / Am / Bm). I love this tune and intend to bring it back for when I play the ES339 this week.
